We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team, covering the East Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of machinery, including scissor lifts, booms, telehandlers, and more. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £40,000 – £47,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a company van with a fuel card (available for personal use), 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and more.

Responsibilities
As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, booms, and telehandlers.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards, adhering to company and industry regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service while working on-site at client locations across the East Midlands.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and job sheets.
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience working with powered access equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer will involve:

• Traveling to client sites across the East Midlands to carry out maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults on a variety of powered access equipment.
• Liaising with clients to provide updates on work progress and ensure their satisfaction.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ensuring your company van is stocked with the necessary tools and parts for the job.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
