We are now looking for an Adoptions Coordinator to join our Adoptions team based in Exeter.
What will you be doing?
As our Adoptions Coordinator, you will be responsible for Developer applications for new water and sewer adoptions in accordance with industry guidance, service level requirements and Water Industry Act. You will represent South West Water at meetings with customers, developers and other interest groups to ensure South West Water’s position is maintained and supported.
The Adoptions Coordinator will ensure the necessary details, consents and approved drawings are available to enable Legal and Property Services to deliver adoption agreements. You’ll also deliver projects in line with the financial rules within the business and wider requirements of Ofwat/Water Industry Act.
You’ll also hold effective cross functional relationships to support with the management of applications and onward delivery of schemes and work in accordance with our Service Level Agreements and customer experience.
What do you need?
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
NVQ in Civil Engineering Level 3 – Construction in the build environment or similar
Proven experience of working in a customer-focused role
Computing with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within a team and liaise with staff at all levels
Organised and strong decision maker
