Salary: £46,000 to £51,000 basic salary, plus a generous uncapped commission scheme paid monthly, company car and benefits

My client is a well-known manufacturer of Heating, Ventilation and Cooling Products such as LST Radiators. They have an excellent range of products which heat, cool and ventilate buildings and consultants regularly use them because they will bespoke solutions wherever needed at the same time ensuring high level of service is of key importance. The culture of the company is one where success is rewarded, and they believe in teamwork and celebrations.
Due to continued success and growth plans they are now looking someone to cover Central London and South London. This is the last of three positions to be recruited.
The opportunity is perfect for a self-motivated sales professional who works well under pressure and is a solid team player; you will be able to contribute to the larger business, working towards the collective vision by effectively selling Commercial specifications in your own, independently managed region.
The responsibilities of the role include creating new business opportunities by building relationships with new target customers such as Consultants and M&E Contractors as well as the following:
Making the best use of lead information to identify projects relevant to key market sectors and develop these to specifications and/or business opportunities
Develop relationships with internal and external colleagues to ensure that enquiries, quotations, specifications, negotiations and orders are handled effectively and efficiently
Contribute to sales meetings and any other departmental meeting as required
Provide design and product selection advice to customers
My client is looking for a proven sales record with a wealth of experience specifying and selling technical products to the construction Industry. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a proactive approach to their work. It would also be distinct advantage if the candidate has experience specifying and selling ventilation and/or heating products. This however isn’t essential as full product training would be given and they have excellent internal support. You may have worked with other product groups such as Water Treatment products, Valves, Underfloor Heating, Commercial Boilers/Heating System. They client needs someone who is used to dealing with Consulting Engineers in London and South London as this is a grave to cradle role covering project led work within the Commercial HVAC Industry.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of a customer centric focus and have the appetite to deliver a professional, personal, high quality service level every time.
