We are now looking to recruit a Electrical Maintenance Technician for our team at our Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre (GRREC). You’ll work 42.5 hours per week, across 7 days shift rotation. A shift allowance will be applicable for this role.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all the C&I equipment at the Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre, providing support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills.
The Electrical Technician will assist in the co-ordinate of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. You’ll also ensure that all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System is effective and followed through to completion promptly.
*Experience in C&I engineering of process industry or power plants.*Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems (CMMS)*Possess appropriate Electrical qualifications such as a City & Guilds / NVQ / recognised apprenticeship*Understanding of Environmental and Health & Safety issues and their impacts*Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, both verbally and written
