Roles and Responsibilities:
Office based role overseeing 7/8 electrical engineers
Manage upstream and downstream
Technically competent on electrical side
Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times including liaising with our Health and Safety manager from pre construction through to handover.
Track record of working on rail and tunnel projects
Can assist in the production / review of risk assessments and method statements
Can confidently deliver risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and start of shift briefings to operatives
Attend/Chair all internal meetings related to works being undertaken
Keep records of daily operations, produce daily records
Co-Ordination of the electrical contractor, including any specialist sub-contractors. Also to manage the free issue of materials and equipment. To be recorded on handover forms.
Inspect and snag the subcontractors works
ECS / CSCS card
Must have worked on large rail jobs – £50m plus
