Our Environmental Specialists provide advice and support to all areas of our business, including those directly involved in our product (e.g. production, engineering and science) and our supporting functions (e.g. supply chain and project management).
The day-to-day work of an AWE Environmental Specialist is diverse. It includes production of Environmental assessments in support of our Environmental Permits or the Environmental Management System, such as registers of Environmental aspects, risk assessments, waste management plans, sustainability assessments and Best Available Technique optioneering. It also involves undertaking regular site and facility inspections, participating in Environmental audits or activities supporting the delivery of the Company’s Environmental Sustainability Plan.
