With works involving Drilling and Piling, Harbour Developments, Dredging and Marine Excavation your new company have a growing network of clients and excellent portfolio of current works added to a busy order book.
Your new role
The role of Health & Safety Advisor will see you initially based on a major harbour scheme in County Donegal with an element of UK travel to the County Antrim HQ. Your role will be to ensure the company’s systems are updated and maintained as well as conducting sight audits and ensuring the highest standards are maintained. Operating within the marine industry this role will see you responsible for the safety of 30+ direct employees as well as subcontractor management.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience working as Health & Safety Advisor within the construction or civil engineering industry, preferably a civil engineering contractor. Experience in conducting site audits will be essential and having excellent communication both written and verbal will be a necessity. This is a permanent role and one that will see you conducting some UK and ROI travel so the successful candidate must be open to this. You will be NEBOSH qualified.
