Venatu Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an award winning, growing business who are looking to add to their team based out of their Barnsley office and with some travel. To ensure that corporate Health, Safety and Environmental management complies with current legislative requirements on all sites. To create, maintain and improve health, safety and environmental standards throughout the company. Ideally looking for someone with 1-2 years experience who are looking to develop their career in a growing, main contractor who have an excellent reputation within their sector which includes civils and utility projects.
Experience, Qualifications & Training:
NEBOSH – General Certificate – Desirable
NEBOSH – Construction Certificate – Desirable
Member of IOSH – Desirable
Produce monthly reports on all HSE issues.
Ensure investigations of accidents, incidents and near misses are conducted and advise on corrective actions.
Implement all relevant new HSE legislation and communicate same throughout company to employees.
Maintain and carry out the HSE audit program.
Review Construction Phase Plans
Review and advise on RAMS for production and those submitted by subcontractors.
Audit all method statements & RAMS during site audits.
Approval and review of all subcontractors and suppliers on the Company supplier management system.
Collate HSE related documentation for external auditors.
Advise on all HSE matters for both in-house and on project sites.
Implement the Company Occupational Health Policy.
Formulate and communicate the Company HSE Strategy.
Other reasonable activities as directed by the Managing Director.
Conduct HSE inductions for Head Office & Sub Contract labour.
