This esteemed construction company is looking for an experienced IT Senior Buyer to work on innovative crucial IT procurement projects. The role will involve joining a professional IT procurement team with a supply chain budget of over £10m and working in all areas of the end to end IT procurement process including developing strategy, tendering, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
This role is based in Birmingham
IT Procurement Senior Buyer Role Overview:
Competently engaging with internal stakeholders including site teams, planning teams and IT and commercial functions. Alongside managing external contractors, suppliers and clients
Conceive and develop IT procurement strategy which adds value and meets customer requirements whilst maintaining the company’s high-quality service in areas such as cloud hosted systems and IT infrastructure
Providing excellent support to the wider IT procurement teams in conducting market analysis, risk and opportunity assessments, supplier relationship management and supervision of junior buyers
IT Procurement Senior Buyer Requirements:
Successful experience of implementing and developing IT procurement strategy and frameworks
Proven track record of delivering over the whole end to end supply chain function including negotiation and managing supplier relationships
Strong academic record, including relevant IT qualifications and MCIPS (desirable)
British or EU passport or holding a valid visa allowing you to live and work in the UK without any restriction
Salary: £500-550 Per Day
