City of London, London
Our client is a leading Property and Construction Consultancy based in the City of London who are actively recruiting for a Project Director or Senior Program / Project Management Specialist ( will also consider Associate Director level ) who must have Aviation or Airports experience.
This is a NEW BUILD project and so it highly likely you will have Big Airport Construction delivery experience. As a Project Director you will have extensive experience as a Program Manager effectively leading on a variety of packages by instructing Consultants. The 1st year alone will be heavily focused on Infrastructure / Civil engineering works.
Our client has been resilient during these last few months whereby they are still confident in the market to the degree that they have instructed Randstad to continue in the search for a Project Director or Senior Program Manager Specialist with Aviation or Airports experience.
The project in mind is not something you will be aware of however it is the refurbishment and new build of an existing airport and conversion of it to become useable again. This would entail absolutely everything from a new runway to a new radar control tower. This really is a milestone Aviation project which will be ongoing for a minimum of 3 years with a construction cost of £300 million. Designers are already onboard and now the team is being assembled.
In order to be considered for this unique opportunity the client has specified that you must have new build aviation or airports experience as well as have come from a Consultancy background so you can effectively hit the ground running.
Due to the specialist nature of this project ( Aviation ) our client would consider applications from those that have a civil or engineering background.
If you are interested in or know of a Project Director / Senior Program Management Specialist with Aviation experience who would be interested please contact Ather Asghar or call: (phone number removed)
