Kier are currently looking for a Technical Administrator, based in their office in Stafford Supporting the Technical Team you will manage and control the flow of all documentation to and from our client’s and consultants offices together other organisations.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure timely distribution of all correspondence to internal & external project teams
Manage contract documents and technical design information
Complete registrations and applications for NHBC, Building Control, Planning and other entities including updating portal information
Track required response times and issue prompts to responder
To ensure tasks set are completed within target date and time
To ensure quality and consistency of submitted / received documents
Develop a strategy for adopting new systems / improving current systems to support anticipated growth
Creating project specific / team reports, directories, trackers and other management tools.
Control of referencing, numerical sequencing and revisions
Maintain drawing registers / request for information registers
To assist in collation of handover documentation and Health and Safety files.

Processing of orders/ goods receipting for Accounts
Document control experience – 4P and Share Point preferable
Good customer manner and written communication
Experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets
Good organisational and time management skills
Assist in administration of QA systems
Record staff absence/ holiday for manager approval.
Organising meetings and seminars
Computer literate (Microsoft packages, excel, word, PowerPoint etc.), and Document Control Systems preferable.
Excellent communicator, Interpersonal skills and Organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines.
Knowledge and experience:
Administrative background: Experience in administration and a good knowledge of the construction industry and its processes is advantageous
