We now have an exciting opportunity for an Upstream Thinking and Biodiversity Apprentice to join our team in Exeter.
[b]What will you be doing?[/b]
The purpose of this role is to support the Upstream Thinking and Biodiversity team to develop and deliver South West Water’s PR19 Upstream Thinking, mires, Biodiversity and Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) capital Investment plans. In addition, this role will also provide the opportunity to lead on the development of SWW’s tree planting commitments.
As well as receiving direct training and experience in Project Management, the Upstream Thinking and Biodiversity Apprentice will also receive training in the natural environment (learning about species, systems, habitats, rivers etc) and its management.
The Upstream Thinking and Biodiversity Apprentice will also have an opportunity to develop their skills in sustainable business and gain good experience and understanding of the water industry and a modern work place.

*5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths, English and a Science subject*Enthusiasm and desire to learn new skills*Determined approach to solving problems*Passion for excellent customer service*Full UK Driving License

The successful Upstream Thinking and Biodiversity Apprentice will earn a competitive salary of 20,000 per annum, as a higher-level apprenticeship.
