Apprentice Window, door & Conservatory Repair

Company:

Company: Rimmers Windows & Conservatories Limited

About Us: We are an established window firm in Southport now in our 36th year of trading.

Our core value is to offer excellent customer service & value for money at the same time as supporting our employees through each installation they do.

What you will learn: You will spend time with a time served engineer and learn skills from him. You will learn how to use the specific tools for each repair and complete repairs to windows as doors such as locks, hinges, gaskets, sealing, adjusting, trimming, replacing handles and lock mechanisms.

You will learn how to assess a problem and how to then diagnose what is required to ensure the door or window is left in full working order.

You will learn how to measure and install replacement double glazed units into different profiles.

You will help keep the workshop tidy and help the other installers get their vans loaded for the days installs.

You will work your way through a mentorship programme learning different skills as you go.
