Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer / Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and refrigeration units. If you have a passion for working with heavy machinery and possess strong mechanical skills, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

– Diagnose and repair refrigeration system, diesel engines, including electrical systems
– Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration unit, diesel vehicles and equipment
– Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
– Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues
– Fabricate and assemble parts as needed
– Conduct equipment repairs in a timely and efficient manner
– Operate forklifts and other machinery as required

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as an Refrigeration Engineer / Mechanic or similar role
– Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
– Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
– Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
– Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
– Forklift operation experience is a plus
– Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues

Pay: £36,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
