About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer to join a global manufacturer of professional coffee and vending equipment.

This is a varied office and field-based role, providing technical support to customers and engineers while also travelling to customer sites to provide hands-on assistance.

You will become a technical specialist across a portfolio of commercial coffee machines, bean-to-cup systems and automated vending equipment, supporting installation, commissioning, fault diagnosis and ongoing maintenance.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with commercial coffee machines, with a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and field engineers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software-related faults on commercial coffee machines.
• Provide telephone and remote technical assistance.
• Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Support installation, commissioning and servicing of coffee and vending equipment.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot coffee machines and associated systems.
• Assist engineers with technical queries and parts identification.
• Produce technical reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Liaise with internal engineering, product and service teams.
• Provide technical guidance and training where required.
• Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to product improvements.
• Travel throughout the UK as required.

About You

• Previous experience working with commercial coffee machines is essential.
• Experience in technical support, field service or engineering.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with bean-to-cup, traditional espresso or vending machines would be highly advantageous.
• Understanding of pumps, motors, valves, sensors and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Confident communicating with customers and engineers.
• Good IT and technical documentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working between an office and customer-facing field environment.
